Club Evolution

We are excited to announce extensive renovation plans for Barton Creek Country Club.

Enhancements at Barton Creek Country Club

Inspired by modern Hill Country style, the interior redesign of the Clubhouse is currently underway.

Clubhouse Locker Rooms

Both men’s and women’s locker rooms will get a clean look with new wet area layouts, artwork and soft furniture. The women's locker room will have an expanded wet area with a larger dry sauna and showers. The women's lounge will be improved with new soft seating, carpet, paint and trim. In the men's locker room, the 19th Hole will be expanded and revamped with new flooring, trim and paint.

Clubhouse Interior

New carpets, refinished wood floors and furniture bring warmth and functionality to the Club's meeting spaces. The Club's lounge area is adorned with a new trophy display to celebrate Club champions past, present and future.
In the Members' Dining Room, the bar has new seating and the outdoor porch is upgraded.
Both the Governor's Ballroom and Palm Court are refreshed with new paint, drapery and carpet.

Built adjacent to the existing Clubhouse, the new tennis facility will feature 10 lighted courts, covered seating areas as a welcome new addition, and a pro shop, located inside the Clubhouse, offering the latest tennis gear. While the courts are under construction, the Club will continue to offer tennis programs at Lakeside, Austin Tennis Academy and St. Gabriel's Catholic School.

New covered parking will create additional shaded options for members. The Club's front entrance and porte cochere will be modified to provide an improved valet and arrival experience. Soon, complimentary valet parking will also be available at the Club.

Club Pool

The Club’s private pool deck will be expanded extensively to include a covered bar & grill, a poolscape with ample space for swim events and a fully revamped cabana

With irrigation replacement underway and the tee box redesign work complete, the Fazio Foothills set to open in late spring.

November 2017 marked the property's evolution to a 493-room Hill Country retreat and one of the most sought after resort destinations in the South. Highlights of the renovation include a new Mokara Spa, eight new dining establishments, expanded poolscape, a new resort tower and a new conference center. The anticipated completion date for the resort construction is mid-2019.
